JEAN SSENINDE UNITED TEAM VISIT THE UGANDA YOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

On Thursday 16th September, 2021, the Jean Sseninde United team visited the Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) at their home in Lungujja with the aim to strengthen their relationship with Jean Sseninde United and Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA), a significant FUFA member.

Led by one of the Jean Sseninde United team coaches Nampeera Shamim, the team was well received by members of the Uganda Youth Football Association secretariat including the Vice Chairperson Kigongo Farouq, the CEO Kigongo Shafiq and the FUFA youth delegate Kabugo Mansoor.

The members of the Uganda Youth Football Association secretariat appreciated the initiative started by Jean Sseninde United and asked the team to move in the same direction to support the UYFA and FUFA mission and vision.

They also encouraged the team to work with the right professional people and to invest more in the Jean Sseninde United girl child protection policy.

“Thank you for being among the first 2021 applicants for registration who were confirmed by the UYFA Annual General Meeting on 10th July 2021,” noted Kigongo Shafiq, the UYFA CEO, before issuing the Jean Sseninde United team a certificate.

The Jean Sseninde United team will continue visiting and building lasting relationships with different stakeholders in order to support women’s football and grow the game in different communities.
