JEAN SSENINDE UNITED TO VISIT LANGO SUB-REGION FOR A GIRLS FOOTBALL CLINIC

Jean Sseninde United will for the first time visit Lango Sub-region at the end of this month. Our aim for this visit is to ensure that every girl in every part of this country gets the chance to showcase their talent in a safe environment.

As an organisation, we recognise that there is so much talent around the country, and one of our objectives is to empower more girls and women to play football. This clinic will be one of the steps we are taking as an organisation to achieve our mission. 

“ So many young girls want to play football but cannot access the opportunities. We want to reach out to every girl who dreams of playing the beautiful game. Football unites us together and as Jean Sseninde United, we shall continue to strive and reach other regions so that we can fulfil our mission and vision.” said Jean Sseninde, the Director of Jean Sseninde United. 

“As a parent, I am glad that my daughter will be part of this great initiative. We are already prepared and only waiting for the big day. My daughter has always wanted to play football but has never got the opportunityI’m calling upon other parents to support their daughters and also to take part in the sport.” added Akello Josephine, one of the parents whose daughter Jennifer is taking part in the clinic. 

As an organisation, our mission is to create opportunities for all girls and women to play football from grassroots to professional setups. The visit to the Northern part of Uganda will provide a platform for over 100 girls to showcase their talents.
