OLILA WOMEN FOOTBALL CLUB HOLDS MEDIA DAY

Ahead of the second round of the FUFA Women’s Super League, Olila Women’s football club held their official media day which took place in Soroti at Olila High school. The team squad took part in several photo and video shoots for the official broadcasters, once again dusting off their best poses and smiles for the cameras.

Olila Women High School FC head Coach Pande Cifu determined to better performances in the second round mentioned “We have resumed preparations for the second round. We didn’t have the best first round and we are working hard as a team since we have objectives to achieve. We are working on some of the aspects that needed improvement such as set pieces and defending as we aim to get maximum points in every game we play.”

Team captain Amangat Marion who is also the longest-serving player at the club added, “I have been with the club since 2015 and am so glad to be part of this amazing club, we have featured in all editions of the FUFA Women’s super league which is a great achievement for us. Ahead of the second round, we aim to be part of the top 3 teams and hopefully, we can also with the trophy”

The team ended the first round in 5th position with 12 points. The team will be working towards not only getting maximum points on the pitch but also shining off it by increasing their engagement with the fans through their Public Relations and branding.
