JEAN SSENINDE UNITED SIGNS SECOND PARTNERSHIP DEAL

Today, Monday 29th November 2021, Jean Sseninde United has signed a two-year partnership with Mpoma Royal College, aiming to continue showing commitment towards professionalising women’s football in Uganda.

This partnership will see Mpoma Royal Schools become one of Jean Sseninde United’s women’s football development centre in Mukono. This partnership is the organisations’ second official commitment to a school institution and will be vital in ensuring more girls have access to playing facilities while balancing football alongside their education.

The Head Teacher of Mpoma Royal College, Mr Okiring Timothy, expressed delight, “Together with Jean Sseninde United, hope to offer talented sports girls and women opportunities in both football and education. We are looking forward to working with Jean Sseninde United team for the next two years.”

Jean Sseninde United Director Jean Sseninde, after the signing, said, “We have been working hard behind the scenes because we want all young girls and women to have access to a safe space to play football and balance their education at the same time. We are humbled to work with Mpoma Royal Schools in Mukono to create opportunities for the next generation of football stars.”

Jean Sseninde United aims to collaborate with all stakeholders to help give a platform and create opportunities for women and girls to play football in a safe environment at the grassroots and professional levels.
